Did anyone else see the gorgeous double rainbow over Brooklyn a few days back?!  We caught it as we were driving back from stuffing our faces at Fette Sau (thank you 700lb smoker).  

Anyways, the colors + bow were so strong I swear we could’ve followed it + snagged that pot of gold! Rainbows are a scientific phenomenon + wikipedia did a great job explaining them here.

Of course, I will take this opportunity to now research Rainbow goodies, so sit back + check out what I found!

The Jackson’s Victory Tour in ‘84 was my first concert ever!!  Michael Jackson was a HUGE part of our lives growing up!  I was terrified of Thriller. Mia had a grey MJ sweatshirt I wanted.  Axel Foley got to stay at the Beverly Palm hotel b/c he was doing an exclusive interview with Michael Jackson.  Oh + the party in Revenge of the Nerds where Thriller played?!  Amazing!  Cue the Wonder Joints…

Ghostbusters was released June 8, 1984 + is without question, one of my TOP 5 FAVE MOVIES OF ALL TIME!  It’s NYC in the 80’s, it’s spooky, it’s got slime, Bill Murray + some of the best lines ever - “Someone saw a cockroach up on twelve”.

“Here To Save The World”, Ghostbusters made $240M in the U.S., was nominated for tons of awards + won the OSCAR for Best Song!  The blu-ray comes on June 16, as does the video game, which will be avail on Xbox, PS3 + Wii!
